We have been blessed by the support from all who have come out to the recent Packathon events in J. L.'s memory.
There is another Packathon this weekend in Raleigh, NC and I wanted to share the attached email with you, sent by Feed The Hunger.
God bless you,
We have another Packathon event in memory of our ministry’s founder, Dr. J.L. Williams, this weekend and we need your help! The food will benefit refugees and victims of ISIS in Iraq. We have some sponsorship in place for this event in Raleigh, NC, at Broughton High School on July 22nd.
If you can come for a two-hour shift from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., please respond to firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and number of people you wish to bring. We will accept volunteers on a first-come, first-served basis while space is available.
If you can’t make this event but still wish to honor our founder and/or help victims of ISIS in Iraq, then you can certainly give to this worthy cause. We are hoping to send more than 700,000 meals to help those in desperate need in northern Iraq in the name of Christ and in memory of J.L. Every $10 given provides one meal a day for more than a month!
