Patt's Perspective

When you read this, I will have just begun a two-week ministry trip with J.L. to India and Nepal.  I’ll give you a report on that when I return, but let me thank you in advance for your prayers for us and a fruitful time of ministry.  Please check out our itinerary on the website so you can pray more specifically. 

Having been on lots of airplanes, we’ve also had a lot of experiences.  Sometimes the flight attendants have made an effort to add some variety to the in-flight announcements and safety information.  We’ve had some very entertaining and creative announcers so I will be interspersing my commentary with some that I have heard or heard about.  The attendants probably do it to get us to relax because they know that most passengers are traveling with some degree of anxiety.

“Welcome aboard Flight 265 to Atlanta. To operate your seat belt, insert the metal tab into the buckle and pull tight.  It works just like any other seat belt.  If you don’t know how to operate one, you probably shouldn’t be out in public unsupervised.”
