Please be in prayer for Alumnus Phyllis Rudd Mincey, who traveled and sang with the New Directions in the 70s.

Phyllis suddenly became ill this past week, and is on Life Support at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.
We received this update from our friend Mary McGuire on Phyllis’ condition this morning:
“4:30 am Wednesday: “The plan for today is to gradually turn down the implanted device that facilitates each heart beat to see if her heart will perform on its own. If so, then remove the device. This will be a big step forward. Phyllis has rested and improved a little since Sunday. We pray God has strengthened her heart so it can run on its own."
We will update you as we receive news about Phyllis. In the meantime, thank you for your prayers for her, her husband David, and her family.
