Greetings to All,

Thank you for praying for our Bible Camp from August 13 to 19.  It went very well. As I wrote earlier, I was sick before the camp with malaria but the Lord sustained me so that I was on my feet and ready by Monday morning.  By God’s grace, I was able to preach every day from Monday to Sunday.  Here are the  topics I shared with God’s people:

Dear Partners,

I just got this rather alarming email from Ahmed about a near-death accident he had while taking the Gospel to Northern Ghana – the Islamic dominated region. When you read it, you will be blessed by his undauntable spirit!  It is an echo of Paul's personal testimony in II Cor. 11:23-29.  Interestingly, I was writing a chapter in forth-coming book, "Living Dangerously for the Kingdom of God," when I got this email from Ahmed.  It was like reading a contemporary version of Paul's similar experiences!

Humphrey and his proud mother

Dear Friends of Africa…here is another heart-warming report on God's incredible faithfulness.  It is demonstrated in the life of Humphrey Katieki.  God first brought me and my former associate, Larry Warren, in contact with Humphrey when he was a hungry "street boy" begging for food in the busy Nairobi traffic.  He came to one of our feeding programs in the Kibera slums and was cared for by Pastor Timothy Mulehi, who ran the program for us for over a dozen years.  Ultimately his life was transformed for time and eternity.
