Rev. Esperandieu Pierre
Esperandieu is the Haiti National Director for Campus Crusade for Christ International, a position he has held since 1995. As such, he is one of the most visionary, dynamic and catalytic young Christian leaders of the country. In that capacity, he and JL worked together in a number of outreaches to the youth of Haiti -- especially the "Haiti At The Cross" event in 2004 with Joe White, noted speaker with Promise Keepers and Kanakuk Kamps.
Along with other Haitian partners like Chavannes Jeune and Edner Jeanty, this series of bicentennial events was a nationwide move to dedicate the country to Christ and keep break the ancient blood covenant with the devil through voodoo. Esperandieu and his wife, Dianne, have also begun a vital work by faith in the village of Chambrun, north of Port-au-Prince, where there was neither church or school. It was one of the poorest areas surrounding the Capital. God blessed their giant step of faith as they started a small school, church and orphanage. Since the mega-earthquake of January 12, 2010, their work has literally exploded in growth as other international Christian groups have come around him to help because of his integrity. JL is also a close friend and partner who is helping to develop the farming and sports component of his ministry.
